Konkan Cashews

Swasth brings geo tagged, quality cashew nuts from Vengurla tehsil of Konkan, processed and packed under expert supervision.

Cashew nuts are naturally cholesterol-free and contain good amounts of heart-healthy fats, fiber, and protein. They also contain arginine, which protects the inner lining of artery walls.

The copper and iron in cashews work together to help the body form and utilize red blood cells. This in turn keeps blood vessels, nerves, the immune system, and bones healthy and functioning properly.

We’ve all heard that carrots are good for your eyes, but it might come as a surprise that cashews are too!

They contain high levels of lutein and zeaxanthin, which act as antioxidants when consumed regularly. These compounds protect the eyes from light damage (which can turn into blindness in the elderly) and can even help prevent cataracts.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to store Swasth Konkan Cashews?

It is suggested to store cashews either in the original packaging or in a zip lock bag. The best place to store them is in your refrigerator or freezer, depending on when you’re going to consume them. If you’re planning on eating the cashews right away or within 1-4 weeks then place them in your refrigerator. If you will be storing them for a month or longer then the freezer is better.

Can you cook with Swasth Konkan Cashews?

Our cashews can be cooked in any way you prefer. However due to how special these cashews are it is suggested to not cook them for a very long duration due to how delicate they are. Our suggested method would be to add them to your favorite gravies/sauces to add that extra richness to your dishes. They can be baked, roasted or fried at a low temperature. They can also be chopped and added as a topping to your favorite desserts and ice cream.

Our cashews can also be used to make cashew butter by soaking them in water for 24 hours, and then blending them with a little bit of olive/almond/walnut oil and salt until the desired consistency is achieved. Cashew butter can be used as a spread.
