Frequently Asked Questions
How to store Swasth California Almonds?
It is suggested to store almond kernels either in the original packaging or in a zip lock bag. The best place to store them is in your refrigerator or freezer, depending on when you’re going to consume them. If you’re planning on eating the walnuts right away or within 1-4 weeks then place them in your refrigerator. If you will be storing them for a month or longer then the freezer is better.
Can you cook with Swasth California Almonds?
Our almonds can be cooked in any way you prefer (baking, roasting, frying). However due to how special these almonds are it is suggested to not cook them for a very long duration due to how delicate they are. Our suggested method, would be to blend them into almond flour that can be used as a coating for that extra added crunch. Our almonds can also added to your favorite gravies/sauces to add that extra richness to your dishes. They can be chopped and added as a topping to your favorite desserts and ice cream or blended with a little salt, honey and almond oil to make almond butter.
Our almonds can also be used to make almond milk by soaking them in water for 24 hours, removing the skin and then blending them with a little bit of water until the desired consistency is achieved. Almond milk can be used as a substitute for heavy cream.
